Live @ Brookside

James C. Burns returns to Brookside for a special hometown performance featuring the songs that first came to life in this very venue.   Blending Americana and folk rock, Burns' music draws upon a lifetime of experiences—from growing up in the Berkshires to careers in professional sports and entertainment. The songs are rooted in storytelling and explore themes of family, perseverance, love, loss, and the enduring pull of home. This performance is especially meaningful because these songs were born at Brookside. The workshop concert held here last summer gave audiences an early look at the material and helped shape the direction of the project. What began as works in progress have now become a finished body of work, returning to the place where the journey started.   Join James C.
